Amy Rebecca Photography » Something Different Wedding Photography

This past Sunday took me to Confluence Park in Columbus. I had recently been there for a wedding filled with love, friends, and family. This time I was there to capture what 50 years after the wedding results in. Continued love, life-time friends, & an expanded family. It was a joy to be there both times!!

I LOVED seeing the couples wedding photo! Her gown was exceptional!

All in the family 🙂

And you never know who will show up at a party! Like the governor of Ohio!

It was an extra special occasion for all!

I didn’t meet Van & Erin until the wedding day. Thanks to the world-wide-web and a wonderful relative, I was contacted by Erin. Since they live out-of-state, we did everything via email. I couldn’t have asked for a better first meeting. They made us feel welcomed from the start of the day until the end. The weather was fabulous and the so set the tone for the whole wedding. I do occasionally cry for joy at weddings and today was one of them. Their love for each other was so obvious. I am a hopeless romantic so that left me with tears in my eyes and joy in my heart. Here are just a few pictures from their wedding day at COSI.

Black and white theme…….very elegant!

Groom details….
Bride details….

Anxious Anticipation!

I loved Van’s expression when he saw Erin for the first time!

Sparklers and a then they rode off into the night-time cityscape. What a great way to end the day!

Don’t you want to be able to wear your dress more than one time? Pre-Bridals and Post-Wedding photography shoots are soooo much fun. These were shot in downtown Lancaster and at the Decorative Arts Center.

It isn’t everyday you get to twirl in your wedding dress!

Can I make a post about shoes? I LOVE wedding shoes…well all shoes…but wedding shoes are AWESOME!!

Smiles, Laughs, and Love……I saw alot of those wonderful things on Tim & Valerie’s wedding day. Valerie’s laugh, Tim’s smile, and the love that you could honestly see on their faces was a pleasure to be able to capture. Thanks to all their family and friends who made us feel so welcomed and appreciated!!!

MUST Photograph Shoes…

We have the regular shot of everyone looking and smiling, but this is the one I adore!

Keep Laughing and Smiling all your married life!!

I had meetings with some wonderful newly engaged couples over the last week or so. Today, I met with Julian & Lauren and I am so excited to be shooting their wedding next July! Lauren was prepared, as most brides are, so I thought I would take a minute to briefly try to answer some frequently asked ???’s…….

1. Would I describe myself as mostly a photojournalistic or traditional shooter?
Answer: I like to be a nice mixture, but lean more towards the photojournalism side. I would say 70/30…..70% of the day being capturing candid moments, the actual ceremony, and all the fun of the reception. 30% of the day……I try to gently guide couples into natural/fun poses. I realize that the majority of clients still want to have some traditional family photos and those are included as well.

2. How long does it take to receive my wedding photos after the wedding day?
Answer: My goal is within 3-4 weeks for you to see them online….then, within a week or so of that time, you will receive your proofs.

3. How many pictures do I get ?
Answer: I go through all photos one by one to present you with the best 300-400 photos to represent your day. If a cd is included in your package, I will sometimes put a folder on it to give you some fun extras/out-takes that you may want to see.

4. Do I get a copyright release with purchase of cd/or if is included in package?
Answer: YES

5. Who is your second photographer?
Answer: My husband, Max. He is a great compliment, especially for getting another viewpoint and wonderful candid shots. Sometimes, as a bonus, my daughter is able to accompany us as a 3rd shooter/lighting assistant. We are a family business 🙂
