I like for every couple to have a unique experience with their photo shoot. Sure…there are some spots in downtown Columbus that I love to shoot at, but we usually find some new stuff along the way. I loved the soft light coming thru here at this location and the fact that Courtney & Brian were workin’ that light ๐Ÿ™‚

It is so cool when couples aren’t afraid to have fun and show their goofy side. This is the giant scale at Cosi. Most of the weight comes from Brians muscles, right!

Ok….now…when I ask if there is something unique to you as a couple, I have never received this answer. Brian has a 6 ft. snake for a pet so I said “Bring it on!” LOVE it!!

And we also have the doggies….

This is another shot that showed their playfulness. When wondering how we can show off Courtney’s ring, this was her first reaction. My favorite of all the ring shots we did that day because it was fun ๐Ÿ™‚

and last but not least….another genuine moment….look at Brian’s face in the background. So real!!

Thanks being troopers in the cold Ohio weather. Can’t wait to have fun with you all at your wedding next year!!

Mike and Melinda’s shoot was in downtown Columbus. They tried to tell me that they were awkward in pictures. I just can’t believe it ๐Ÿ™‚ I had so much fun and they looked Fabulous!!

If you have ever seen me shoot, it is very typical for me to lay on the ground to get the pictures. For this shot, I was so excited that I layed down before looking…….right into a puddle of water.

The ever-so-famous door in Columbus. Just ask the guy that works across the street!

Mary Catherines antique store was ever so kind to let us grab a few shots inside.

and so was Zpizza.

And then the shot I had been waiting for! We had some good laughs after taking this one ๐Ÿ™‚

Thanks for the fun…………Can’t wait for the wedding!!!

Maybe the weather wasn’t absolutely perfect, but the rest of the day was. Drew and Abby’s wedding was wonderful with all the details.

Bursts of color made up for any gray skies….

and “I DO” shoes ๐Ÿ™‚

While the girls do their girl stuff…..

Drew plays a serious game of checkers in the nursery!

This was Drew’s idea. He wanted the 2 of them to be in the same area without seeing each other before the ceremony.

We found our way out of the rain at the Georgian in Lancaster.

and made the best of the rain with the umbrellas and rainboots that Abby had prepared for the day.

Beautiful reception details…

How often do we see the groom thrown in the air? Not much … and this wasn’t the first time on this day ๐Ÿ™‚

Max drove while I hung out the sunroof to get this shot. Maybe I am a little crazy, but hey, it’s all about the fun of the day!

Happily Ever After, Drew & Abby!!

Sarah’s middle name could be Sweetness! and Tony…you are just as wonderful! What a terrific couple to work with! I can see how you feel in love with each other…..

We started in Lancaster in the studio and downtown for a few shots. Then we headed off to the Lithopolis Library- a place that is special to Sarah and her parents.

I love the doggies-Harlan and Twinkie ! Great names too ๐Ÿ™‚

So looking forward to seeing you again on your wedding day next year. I am sure my tears of happiness will flow for you ๐Ÿ™‚

Ok….my awesome cool daughter and I went to see Paramore in Detroit over the weekend. Being the kid she is, she won a contest to get to meet the band beforehand. It was so fun!! I may be in my 30’s but am still 18 in my head and heart ๐Ÿ™‚ I LOVED sharing this with my daughter! A precious memory for mama!!

Our day began at Ireland’s Spa & Salon in Lancaster.

Lori had her hair done by Stacey…..turned out so beautiful! Nathan loves her hair down ๐Ÿ™‚

The dress…

I love detail shots. The family pearls and a gift made especially for Lori and Nathan wrapped around the perfume bottle.

Nathan and Lori decided to see each other before the ceremony. I love the genuine look for excitement on her face.

Can’t go wrong with leaving in a yellow camaro!

Yes, we may have had to stop traffic, just a little……downtown Lancaster.

I LOVE these shots. Ya’ll were sooo much fun!!

Party ON!!!

I booked with Nick and Donna last year. They were my first booking for 2009 in the year 2008. It was with long anticipation that their wedding day finally arrived. And it was a gorgeous Saturday! Donna is a do-it-herself kind of girl…..she did her own hair (which was beautiful), her own makeup, and in between, decorated the church and touched up her Mom’s hair. Nick was willing to take as many pictures as we could fit into the time frame and the guys just wanted to have fun ๐Ÿ™‚ It was a great group!

A few detail shots……

Gorgeous Donna and her bouquet (which they made themselves).

Her necklace that was handmade by a friend.

The cowboy and his boots!

Genuine Happiness…..

A few traditional shots of family and bridal party….

and not so traditional….

Nick’s bestman was Grandpa Jack. He made everyone smile ๐Ÿ™‚

The reception was at Rising Park. I LOVED the cake….absolutely special!
