We didn’t let that Ohio rain stop us!!  yea, we did a second session in the sunshine but we made the best of the first day and had fun 🙂 I love couples that can roll with whatever happens.  Derrick and Sherrie also had their cats, Krumble and Gemba in on the act.

It was such a great time!  Can’t wait for their wedding next year.

If ever we could hit Goodale Park on the prettiest day of the year, I think we did!  Jim and Tabitha traveled from states away and I am so happy Ohio decided to be good to us on this day.

We had a beautiful day for Jim and Tabitha’s wedding!  Blue skies matched the blue hydrangeas in Tabitha’s bouquet.  They were married at First Community Church and the reception was held at The Grand Event Center.  Cocktail hour on the patio was perfect.  The breeze was blowing and the wine was flowing 🙂

Thank you so much, Tabitha and Jim, for letting us share these precious moments with you.  It was such joy!

Katie had been in her friend’s wedding that we had shot a few years before.  We had such a great time that day!  Then when we did Adam and Katie’s engagement session, I knew from that point on that I should count down the days till we got to see each other again.  To be able to laugh so hard, be goofy together,  AND take photos is just the best!

All the fun we anticipated came to life last month.  The wedding and reception were held at The Wells Barn, which is part of Franklin Park Conservatory.  There was just so much natural affection and love shown that day, not just to each other, but to us as their photographers.  And you better believe I danced with Grandpa when he asked me to save him a dance 😉

Thank you, Katie and Adam, for a perfect day!!!

Ben and Bessie had such a wonderful day at Franklin Park Conservatory.  We dodged the rain just perfectly.  And their first look….so BEAUTIFUL in the butterfly room.  If any of you know me, you know that I love plants!!  To be surrounded in lush green plants was just in my zone 🙂

They were so happy to become a little family.  Ben and Bessie wrote their own vows and I nearly cried.  They treated us so graciously and we couldn’t more happy for them as they start their new adventure!!

Thank you, Bessie and Ben, for everything!

One of the many things I love about wedding photography is that we are exposed to many different lives.  Rosalyn speaks American Sign Language and Logan has learned to speak it with her.  The language of love transcends all.  I tried to learn some sign language expressions for their special day but I was so very thankful for the translators.  They went above and beyond to make the day go smoothly.

We shot Rosalyn’s sisters’ wedding years ago so it was so nice seeing everyone again!  There were hugs, happy tears, and bubbles to exit with.  Such a sweet day!!

After a long winter, we are always so thankful for the colors of a spring wedding.  Tyler and Maggie were surrounded with green which made a perfect backdrop for their navy and pink color scheme.  The ceremony and reception were held in Granville.  This was our first visit to the Trout Club.  If you are looking for an indoor venue with the feel of the outside air, the Trout Club may be your place!

Thank you, Maggie and Tyler, for letting us share this wonderful day with you 🙂
