A couple in love, a cute pup, icy ponds, and wonderful clouds….that was Ian and Ashley’s engagement session.  Winter at Dawe’s Arboretum looked quite lovely this February day!

We won’t let Ohio weather keep us down.  I love how couples are willing to brave the cold for a fun shoot.  We had a great time stomping through the snow with Ben and Bessie!  Can’t wait for their summer wedding 🙂

Our first wedding of 2018 sent us to the barn at Mapleside Farms in Brunswick, Oh.  It was a brisk January day but the sky was showering us with happy white clouds and a bright blue background.   Colin and Heidi had a beautiful winter wedding in the barn.  It was cozy and warm and the goodie table overflowed with doughnuts 🙂 Everyone was so happy to share their joy and we were thankful to be a part of this day!!

There was no better way to end the 2017 wedding year than with Mike and Mahsa’s intimate Columbus Museum of Art wedding.  They have hearts of gold.  I am so thankful we had the privilege to meet them and witness their beautiful day with family and friends.  So much love for them!!

We have watched Duncan grow up into this sweet man and we are so happy he found his love with Brooke.  He eats vegan food with her and makes her laugh with his goofiness 🙂  It’s a match!!

Evan and Madison had their wedding at Irongate Equestrian Center.  It would call it the first blizzard of the year AND Madison broke her ankle right before the wedding.  Under extreme circumstances, all I saw were their smiles and positivity….even going out in the freezing snowy night to do a final shot.  All the sayings are true:  Attitude is everything, Just keep smiling, and Love trumps all.

Our first wedding in December and the sun was shining warmly on Cory and Stephanie.  We are always thankful when the weather smiles on us!  The wedding was at Brookshire and there were tears of happiness and love.

Cory and Stephanie and all their loved ones made us feel so welcome.  And yes, I did do some Backstreet Boys dancing but it really couldn’t be helped 🙂
